An evening dedicated to the drama, spirituality and humanity of Giuseppe Verdi, bringing together bass Massimo Modoni and organist Jeremiah Stephenson in the beautiful setting of St Michael’s Cornhill.

Featuring selections from Verdi’s sacred and operatic repertoire, Viva Verdi explores the expressive relationship between the bass voice and the organ. Intimate prayer and lyrical reflection meet moments of theatrical intensity, with the organ’s rich colours revealing fresh perspectives on this extraordinary music.
