“Mélange de la Cote d’Azur, A musical journey along Italian and French Opera.

Welcome to tonight's concert, "Melange de la Cote d'Azur: A Musical Journey Along Italian and French Operatic Arias." We are delighted to present our  exceptional guest artist Irish Mezzo-soprano Emily Hogarty. She will perform alongside Italian Bass Massimo Modoni, accompanied by pianist Brian Hughes.

Throughout the evening, we will be treated to a diverse selection of arias spanning the rich traditions of Italian and French opera. From the poignant compositions of Massenet and the stirring melodies of Verdi to the lyrical beauty of Bellini and the vivacious works of Rossini, our performers will guide us through a captivating exploration of these beloved operatic treasures.

In addition to vocal performances, we will also experience moments of instrumental splendour with pieces by Bizet and Respighi, offering a delightful contrast to the vocal repertoire.
